Lifetime Learning: Novels and Ideas - Adventures

Read, think, learn, discuss. How literature should be enjoyed. In this first in a series of four classes held on alternate Tuesdays, Steve Bornemeier, M.A., Tulane University, and Jeff Bornemeier, B.A., University of Denver, lead a discussion of “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” by Mark Twain. On Oct. 20 the class will talk about William Golding’s “Lord of the Flies,” on Nov. 3 the topic will be Iris Murdoch’s “Under the Net,” and on Nov. 17 the discussion will center on Thomas Pynchon’s “The Crying of Lot 49.”
