Joe Marchio, assistant conductor of the Cape Symphony and music director of Chatham Chorale, presents a glimpse into Beethoven’s life in honor of the composer’s 250th birth year. In this class, the first of two, Marchio will describe the difficulties Beethoven endured as well as the pivotal place he holds in the history of Western music.
