Summer Reading begins June 30

This year’s Summer Reading program begins on Wednesday, June 30, and the theme is “Tails & Tales.” Come to the library to pick up a registration form and reading log. Better yet, come to a Summer Reading Kick-Off Ice-Cream Party from 4 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6 on the lawn outside the library and pick up a sweet cold treat with your sign-up form. You may also sign up online at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/117SzUEiNganiej50JlLump9hxdOU7RJs9YG-IcjkvuQ/edit.

For every five hours that you read this summer, you’ll receive a raffle ticket for one of eight great prizes from local businesses, courtesy of the Friends of Snow Library. The more you read, the more tickets you get (though we know that the real reward is the reading itself!). Remember that any type of reading counts — books, magazines, graphic novels and even audiobooks. You can read to yourself or to your pet alligator or with your family — it all counts!
