John Ward (Master’s in chemistry, University of Oxford) and Paul Coteus (retired physicist and IBM fellow) discuss the fundamentals of weather and climate and how it is modeled and forecast. There will be a special focus on conditions predicted for Cape Cod in the seasons and years ahead. This is the first class in a six-part series that continues on Feb. 12, 19, 26 and March 5, 12.
