In his final play, Shakespeare examines such diverse issues as royal legitimacy, colonialism, the borderlines between science and magical thinking, and the limits of love, among other themes. This four-part course with Shakespeare expert Kerry Brown will look at how Shakespeare dramatizes these notions by blending tragedy and comedy into a new genre called romance.
