John Whelan, former host of the ‘Oldies’ Rock ‘n’ Roll program on WOMR, begins his four-part series with a look at “The Founders” — the pioneers who made up Rock ‘n’ Roll’s first Hall of Fame class. They are Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Little Richard, Ray Charles, Jerry Lee Lewis, James Brown, Buddy Holly and the Everly Brothers.
